Amarins’ favourite working method is creating collages. She is fascinated by using pieces of existing images to create new ones. This is visible in her graphic and illustration designs and forms the main component in her personal artwork as well.
In her artwork she has been developing and perfecting her own analogue method since 2008, combining paint and collage to create images on canvas in a clean and precise way in her own ever-evolving style.
As a whole, the paintings provide an apparently familiar picture rich in depth and space, while closer examination of her work will reveal the intriguing pictorial details and interesting structure of the paper that is being used, forming a second and third layer.
